Fun Days, Special Visitors & Enrichment
At The Learning Tree, we believe that some of the best learning happens when children are having fun! Throughout the year, we offer loads of exciting fun days, special activities, and hands-on experiences that keep our children engaged, curious, and excited to learn.
We also welcome special visitors from our community, including firefighters, dentists, and other local professionals, who provide fun and educational experiences for our children. These visits give children the opportunity to learn about the world around them in an interactive and memorable way.
Our enrichment program also includes music and dance classes twice a month, giving children the chance to sing, dance, move, express themselves, and build confidence while having a great time!
From special visitors and themed days to music, dance, and hands-on activities, there is always something exciting happening at The Learning Tree!
Music Class With Miss Elaine!
Our children love making music with Miss Elaine! Through singing, dancing, instruments, movement, and interactive activities, Miss Elaine makes every class fun, engaging, and full of energy. Music class gives our children the opportunity to express themselves, build confidence, develop listening skills, and explore their creativity—all while having a wonderful time!
We are so grateful to have Miss Elaine visit The Learning Tree twice a month to share her love of music with our little learners!
Dance Class With Miss Jennifer!
Get ready to move, groove, and have some fun with Miss Jennifer! Our children head to the gym for an exciting dance class filled with music, movement, and lots of smiles. Dance class encourages children to build coordination, balance, confidence, and gross motor skills while learning fun dances and expressing themselves through movement.
With plenty of room to move and explore, our gym becomes a place where our little learners can dance, laugh, and let their personalities shine! We are so excited to welcome Miss Jennifer twice a month for a fun-filled dance experience!
Some Fun Days at the Learning Tree!
There is always something exciting happening at The Learning Tree! Throughout the year, we plan special fun days and themed activities that give our children something extra to look forward to. From dressing up and showing off their favorite teams to celebrating the people and careers that make our community special, our fun days are all about creating happy memories together.
Some of our favorite fun days include Pajama Day, Wear Your Favorite Jersey Day, Career Week, and so much more! We love giving our children opportunities to have fun, get creative, and learn through exciting experiences outside of our everyday classroom routines.
Pajama Day!
Who doesn’t love a cozy day at school? On Pajama Day, our little learners get to come to school in their favorite pajamas and enjoy a fun-filled day of cozy activities, smiles, and lots of school-day fun! It’s always a favorite at The Learning Tree!
Wear a Jersey to School!
Game day at The Learning Tree! On Jersey Day, our little learners get to show off their favorite teams by wearing their favorite jerseys to school. It’s a fun way to celebrate teamwork, school spirit, and all the things our children love!
Career Week!
During Career Week, we invite our wonderful families to be a part of the classroom by sharing all about their careers with our children! Parents can sign up to visit the school, talk about what they do, and give our little learners a fun, age-appropriate look into different careers and professions.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about the world around them, ask questions, and discover all the different jobs people do in our community. We love having our families involved and making learning meaningful through real-life experiences!
Fire Safety Awareness Visit!
Our little learners had an exciting and educational visit from our local firefighters! The children learned important fire safety tips, what to do in an emergency, and how firefighters help keep our community safe. They even had the chance to see the fire trucks up close and learn about the equipment firefighters use!
It was a fun, hands-on experience that helped make an important safety lesson engaging, memorable, and age-appropriate for our children.
Cookie Baking Day!
Our little bakers love getting creative in the kitchen! On Cookie Baking Day, the children get to mix, measure, decorate, and enjoy delicious cookies while having lots of fun together. It’s a sweet hands-on experience that encourages creativity, teamwork, and following directions—and, of course, ends with a yummy treat!
Farm Animal Visit!
Our little learners had so much fun meeting some adorable pigs! The children had the opportunity to get up close, learn fun facts about pigs, and enjoy a hands-on experience they’ll remember. It was a day full of excited faces, curious questions, and lots of piggy fun!
