I’ve been passionate about early childhood education for as long as I can remember. After years of experience in both home-based and corporate childcare settings, I opened The Learning Tree Daycare & Preschool in 2013 to create a place that reflects what matters most to me as both an educator and a mother.
At The Learning Tree, we believe children thrive when they have plenty of opportunities to play, learn, explore, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. Our goal is to build confidence, encourage creativity, and inspire a love of learning that children can carry with them for years to come.
Katrina Wardwell
Assistant Director
Katrina has been with me since my first year opening the daycare. Starting as an assistant in the classroom, working her way up to Lead Teacher in all age groups, and eventually becoming Director certified. Her experience in both the classroom setting, and office setting has helped immensely when it comes to organization between staffing, classroom rosters, and all of the in-between.

Every teacher brings their own unique personality, talents, creativity, and experiences into the classroom. From creating fun learning activities and engaging projects to comforting a child who needs a little extra love, our teachers put their hearts into everything they do.
Our staff works together as a team to create a safe, nurturing, fun, and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported. We believe that strong relationships are at the foundation of early childhood education, and our teachers take the time to truly get to know each child, celebrate their accomplishments, and encourage them as they grow.

ABOUT OUR CENTER!
Your child will have plenty of space to learn, explore, and have fun throughout the day.
Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed with dedicated areas for group activities, hands-on learning, creative play, and cozy spaces where children can relax and enjoy some quiet time.
When the weather is nice, children can head outside to enjoy our large outdoor playground, complete with swings, climbing and crawling structures, and soft landing areas for active play.
And when the weather doesn’t cooperate, the fun continues indoors! Our spacious indoor playground gives children the opportunity to stay active, explore, and play all year long.

At The Learning Tree, safety is always our top priority. We take every precaution to create a secure, nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence.
Our large, dedicated staff means your child is always under the careful supervision of a teacher or assistant. Our staff members are CPR certified and prepared to respond in an emergency.
Our facility is also equipped with a modern security system, cameras, and alarms to provide an added layer of protection. Doors remain locked between drop-off and pick-up times, and children are only released to individuals who are listed on their pre-approved pick-up list.
We go the extra mile to create a safe and secure environment because we want you to have peace of mind—and we want your little one to spend their day doing what they do best: learning, playing, exploring, and having fun!
